Renee says 'What I loved about this apartment from the moment I saw it on the plans was the chance to have a garden.'
'It is a perfectly manageable size and gave me the opportunity to add colour with hydrangeas and fresh green with the ivy to the vista from my living room. It has been lots of fun creating this over the past five years of living here.'
Renee said she bought peace of mind knowing that it was constructed under the new building act of 2005.That and it being over 50 square metres meant that she knew it was bigger than average for a one bedroom apartment.
The layout works really well with the open plan living and dining facing out to the garden. I' even can comfortably fit in a four seater table which is super convenient as I love to entertain friends' says Renee. There is off street undercover visitor parking for 12 cars which means her friends know they can always drop by. Her house is the central meeting place for the nearby Grey Lynn festival each year.
Renee is a busy professional and really busy. It is a great location for getting to work with the highway onramp just around the corner but just as easily she can work from home with plenty of space to spread her stuff out.
Renee says said she has plenty of personal space. 'My bedroom is my sanctuary. Ensuite bathroom and wall to wall wardrobe means I can have all my personal things tidy and close by.'
Renee says it is really a handy lifestyle which she will sorely miss but she has decided to she wants pets, which despite this being a pet friendy building, Renee is opting for more than one and a bit of lawn too. So despite misgivings about moving on Renee says she knows there will be another person or couple just like her who will appreciate all the apartment has to offer.
